Open Method of Coordination Working Group on Cultural and Creative Industries

Cultural and creative industries is one of the priority areas in the European Union Work Plan for Culture 2011-2014. The decision established a working group of Member States' experts. The topics for the group include strategic use of the EU support programmes, including structural funds, to foster the potential of culture for local and regional development and spill-over effects of CCIs on the wider economy, CCI export and internationalization support strategies, good practices on financial engineering for SMEs in cultural and creative sector.
